A brief history about myself. I've been involved with the equine world for most of my life. To be exact I've been involved 'hands on' for over 22 yrs. Rehabiliatation has been the main area of my work, helping owners with abused and neglected animals find a healthy safe bond with their horses. Bringing the "useless, and unsafe" Back to a loving, productive relationship Over those years, I've seen a lot of methods, tactics and fads (as I like to call them)in Equine training. Some work. Some don't. The true spirit of the horse has been lost to some trainers - resulting in horses which are fearful, nervous, or angry. All of which, can be repaired by finding your horse's true self. And maybe finding a little of your own self in the process. As a rehabilitator, I am one of the biggest foes of abuse. I don't abide by it, I don't allow it. And sure as a black cat is spooky. I won't let it go unchecked. I think all trainers have a responsibility to make it clear that not all things can be fixed with work. Some things, like understanding your horse evolves over a period of time. From the occasions when you're feeding, grooming, or watching them react to others in a turn out paddock
